He went on to add that there's a gift in failure if you're willing to find it.

What Science Knows About Anger and What to do About It

You can change what you associate pain and anger with, says Craig Siegel, life coach and owner of Cultivate Lasting Symphony.

"Instead of reacting a certain way, you can change your patterns," says Siegel.

Siegel also recommends a more lighthearted approach. "You can change the tonality of the voice in your head from something scary and intimidating to something goofier and less frightening, such as a cartoon character," he says. "This sounds a little weird, but trust me, it's very effective. Try it."

CRAIG SIEGEL '09

Owner of Cultivate Lasting Symphony: Life Transformation Coaching

Tell us about your business?

The pandemic provided me the first opportunity in over a decade to take a minute for myself, no distractions. In this moment, the stars aligned for me, because you see, my passion has always been to help people and to inspire them to become their best selves. I finally was able to identify my true calling. From there, I wasted zero time, and the rest is history. I had realized my purpose, and in that moment that I had, I discovered that this isn’t about me.

Cultivate Lasting Symphony (CLS) would become a beacon of hope for the world. A shining light to lead the way for people to follow to enhance their lives. This may sound corny, but if you are familiar with Batman, he is supposed to represent a symbol of protection to his Gotham City. For me, CLS represents faith, transformation, and a way to revamp your mindset so that each of us can fulfill our own destiny.

Craig Siegel of ‘Cultivate Lasting Symphony’: “Authenticity”

Authenticity. I’m not scared to show the world my true, raw, real, authentic, and vulnerable self. What you see is what you get. I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not. I am Craig Landon Siegel. I’m weird and I have an unorthodox approach.

I understand that I’m an acquired taste. I may not be everyone’s cup of tea, that’s totally fine. What matters most to me is that my clients and the people I interact with get results.

As part of our series called “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Began Leading My Company” I had the pleasure of interviewing Craig Siegel, a Mindset Coach, Speaker, Entrepreneur, Performance Enhancer, and Breakthrough Manufacturer.

And the goal has always been to be able to do this on a much grander scale so that he can reach a much larger audience, and make a gigantic impact.

Craig believes that while people are not broken, their frames often are. He alters their map of the world and revamps their mindset, thus leading to unbelievable breakthroughs in all facets of life.

Simply put, be adaptable. If this Pandemic has taught us anything, it is that life and business can be unpredictable. You need to be able to improvise. The most concrete businesses are ones that can make adjustments and be flexible to these uncertain times. There is always an audience.

Always a customer to your product. You have to find them and find out how you can help and be of service to them. There is always a move to be made. Standing still and not adjusting is the one mistake I see a lot of businesses making right now.

You might as well fail at something you do love.

Or better yet, maybe you’ll fly.

Strategies are as follows. Number one, I put together my biggest dream possible three years out. What my vision would look like. How big the audience would be.
